PART II Let's Talk
| Thalía's telenovelas have been embraced all around the world. For example, "Marimar" has been seen in over 120 countries and translated in many different languages. Here's a small portion of it in Portuguese.... | ....and in Tagalog (The above video capture was when "Marimar" was broadcast in Thailand, and in my opinion the dubbing was very badly done!) |
| Thalía will make her movie debut this year in the long-awaited film "Mambo Café"! Hey, Thalía isn't going to hit the one dude with that pot, is she???? | Thalía thanks the audience for their support as she continues to reach greater heights. |
| "My god, Thalía, tell us about what you've been doing! We all want to know!" | Thalía explains that when she did "Rosalinda" she continued working and working. "Lemme tell you, Cristina, it was a very exhausting experience. Refilming the first 20 episodes, the 1000-degree weather, three hours of sleep, the press getting on my nerves about my thing with Mr. Mottola dammit, I was annoyed. And after all that, only four lines in the final episode????" |
| After doing the album "Amor a la Mexicana," a movie, the novela "Rosalinda," Thalía needs a well-deserved rest. Hasta la vista, baby.... | "Please, I need a vacation..." |
| And Thalía, a vacation you deserved. For seven months, Thalía took some time off for some R & R (i.e., Rest and Relaxation) | How does Thalía maintain such a thin figure? She practices yoga and eats everything. |
| Wait a minute...practices yoga and eats everything? How in the world is that possible???? | Thalía explains about how yoga is incredible. The muscle-straining positions are a great benefit. They make her feel relaxed, release all the tension from her everyday hectic life, improves her breathing. Thalía does yoga everyday, and all that yoga has paid off. Check out that figure! |
| Thalía also discusses about her plans to enter the Hollywood market. Her first step in realizing this was through the movie "Mambo Café." Here, Thalía knows how to, "Show me the money." | For Thalía, doing the movie "Mambo Café" was a very important experience in both her career and her life. Doing telenovelas was one thing, but to enhance her career by doing a project like "Mambo Café" was another. And even though "Mambo Café" is not a film that has Oscar written all over it, the fact that Thalía is a face in Hollywood is itself an accomplishment. |
