It took countless script
presentations and revisions before Salvador Mejia was able to persuade the Queen of telenovelas to return to the small screen. After a brief stint in the USA for a movie (Mambo Cafe), she began work on the Telenovela of the Century. All hail the Queen! On Rosalinda: She is different from the Marias, she was a young student, from a middle class family, who had to work at a flower shop. She is a beauty, romantic, optimistic, simple, creative, intelligent, and an interesting woman who is more sentimental than materialistic. She has fought hard for her love and as a singer, gained public respect. |
